Fail of a Fail
Today’s fail will appear at the later time of 1600 BST, for reasons too silly to be mentioned. So okay the memory card got toasted when my phone sank; not amused. Still, the joys of backup.

Hi Everyone,
You may have noticed that there is now a ‘Fan Box’ (although I suppose it is now technically a ‘Like Box’) in the sidebar to the right. This links in to our Fan Page, which is already filling up nicely. If you are logged into your Facebook account, then you just need to click the Like button to put a smile on our faces: otherwise it will just ask you to sign in the once.
This is in addition to the Facebook integration on comments. Just as a reminder, you do not need to give us any details if you wish to make a comment on our Fails (and we love it when you do); you can post comments using your Facebook account. How good is that?
Over this weekend, the queue will be set up for the next month, so if you have submitted a Failure via I.F.A.F. and not heard back from us, it will be May when it is posted. Therefore, if you submit one from now onwards, it will likely be in (hopefully) sunny June when you receive your Kudos.
Thanks a lot for visiting and enjoy what is now over 50 Fail pictures!
Just a quick update for you, a few people have reported that the “List By Tag” and “List By Date” pages were broken: they didn’t show the images and completely broke the coding, ruining page layout. I’m pleased to be able to say that the gremlins have been ironed out and the tag pages are now working without incidence – for example Fails Tagged Food (warning: contents may not be edible). This has also allowed for the re-activation of the “Share the Laughter” buttons on each post – so get clicking and sharing! We’re still all set to provide a daily giggle for April – still not quite sure if we’re running GMT or BST now that we are supposedly in summer – so it may be 11 rather than 10. Some time in that general area anyway!
Shout out to Mike and Sam for making me aware – I suppose also thanks due to the Liberal Government of the 1900s. Kudos to them.
I’m sure that a few of you out there were a little bemused after our announcement of facebook integration for comments (here) as to how on earth you did this. We received a couple of emails about this via the contact form and eventually realised that we were a little dim when we installed the plugin. Facebook integration for comments is now working perfectly, so why don’t you go ahead and try it out.
Really sorry if you’ve been flummoxed in the last few days!
